What’s the first thing a new client should know about you? I am a people person! I love meeting new people and making connections as I believe you can always learn something new from others.
What inspired you to get start your career in real estate? After 11yrs in hospitality, the pandemic allowed me an opportunity to expand my skill set and discover new interests. However, I was not ready to let go of being able to work with people and make a difference. What intrigued me the most about real estate is that it’s not so different from hospitality. As an agent, I have the opportunity to connect with others and make their dreams of owning a home a reality.
What Seattle neighborhoods are you most familiar with? Belltown, Lower Queen Anne
Where do you live? Belltown
Why did you choose to live there? Being relatively new to Seattle (I’ve been here 2 years as of February 2021), my fiancée and I wanted to be downtown for proximity to work. We fell in love with the Belltown area because of Elliott Bay. The sunsets alone are to die for!
How do your skills in fields other than real estate enhance your ability to help buyers? With my background in hospitality, I’ve developed exceptional communication skills and truly believe that it’s not only about what you say, but also about how you say it. It’s important to be able to understand a client’s needs and then be able to respond empathetically, with transparency and in real time. Additionally, I live by the motto “One team, one dream” as it takes the team to truly win. To me, my client and I will be a team and I’m there to keep them motivated and pumped, essentially being their “cheerleader” and letting them know I’m always in their corner.
What are your passions/hobbies outside of real estate? An amazing food and beverage experience is the key to my heart, along with great company! I come from a big family and enjoy staying connected to family and friends coast to coast, either virtually or 6ft apart with masks on. Additionally, I love a good quality jigsaw puzzle and completing them by myself. There’s no better feeling than connecting that last piece. I completed my first 2,000 piece in January and hope to complete a 3,000 piece by the end of this year. I’m also a huge MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Harry Potter fan and will truly geek-out in any conversation about it.
