What\u2019s the first thing a new client should know about you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Throughout my working career I have been an advocate for my clients.  I will always put my clients interests first.  <\/p>\n\n\n

What are your top 3 pro tips?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Start with budgeting. It is critical to have a firm grasp on the price point that works for you. Getting pre-underwritten<\/a> paves the way to finding a great home.<\/li>
  2. We always strive to find our clients a perfect home, but make a list<\/a> of what are your \u201cmust haves\u201d and what items you are willing to compromise on.  <\/li>
  3. Take some time to research property taxes and other costs in various parts of the area you are buying in.  The cost of owning\/buying a home can vary greatly in a metro area. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

    When did you first get your real estate license? What inspired you to get it? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    I have held my real estate license for roughly 2.5 years.  When I decided to leave my prior industry I looked for a new challenge that my experience and skills would translate well.  I have helped my clients negotiate complex financial decisions for the past 20 years. <\/p>\n\n\n

    Do you focus on a special area (such as new builds or investment properties)? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    I consider myself a jack of all trades, but the majority of my experience has been helping clients buy the right home. <\/p>\n\n\n

    What neighborhoods are you an expert in? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    Portland, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, West Linn, Clark County WA<\/p>\n\n\n

    Where do you live? Why did you choose to live there? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    My wife and I live in Lake Oswego. We love the small town feel while still being 15 minutes from downtown Portland. <\/p>\n\n\n

    Have you worked in fields other than real estate? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    In a sense real estate is a second career for me. I worked in financial services\/ retirement planning for 15 years prior to switching gears and pursuing a career in real estate. <\/p>\n\n\n

    What are you passionate about aside from real estate? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    I am passionate about architecture, travel, cooking, fly fishing and Oregon Pinot Noir.  I consider myself an amateur cooking enthusiast.  My wife works at an interior design and rebuild firm. Together we love renovating our own home. <\/p>\n\n\n
