1 in 3 people <\/strong>say that the house they bought did not fit the criteria they had for a dream home. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Stress and homebuying tend to go hand-in-hand, even more than people think: 58% <\/strong>say that buying a home was more stressful than they expected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n So, how did this stress show up? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Cry it out:<\/em> 15% say they were reduced to tears <\/strong>by the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fight it out<\/em>: One in 5 say they got into a fight<\/strong> with their partner while buying a home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Talk it out: <\/em>Two in 5 say they talked to their parents<\/strong> about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Play hooky: <\/em>16% say they missed work <\/strong>while buying a home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n (Don\u2019t) sleep on it<\/em>: One-third say they lost sleep<\/strong> over the home buying process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Buying a home is notably an expensive endeavor. No surprise there.
