Meet Your Client Advisor: Amanda Edwards, Boston

Amanda Edwards, Flyhomes Boston Client Advisor

What’s the first thing a new client should know about you?

I’m committed to making the homebuying experience as seamless and stress free as possible – purchasing a home should feel exciting!

What are your top 3 pro tips?

  • Get pre-approved or at least speak with a lender prior to starting your search so you have a realistic expectation of what you can afford.
  • Be open to cosmetic changes – homes in MA are old and sometimes need some updating.
  • Don’t get discouraged if you don’t win the first offer you submit – more will come on the market!

What inspired you to get your real estate license?

I had always been interested in real estate and was finding myself searching for homes on Zillow for no reason other than being curious. Curiosity paired with my genuine love of helping people through stressful situations led me to real estate, where I get to help clients through the largest purchase of their life!

Do you focus on a special area (such as new builds or investment properties)?

No special focus – my goal is to help our clients find the best possible option whether they’re looking to invest, want a brand new build, or are searching for their first home.

What neighborhoods are you an expert in?

I grew up in Concord, MA, so am very familiar with the metro west area. In downtown Boston, I’ve lived in the Back Bay, Beacon Hill, North End, and East Boston so know those areas surrounding neighborhoods very well. Most recently I’ve been living in Braintree and am super familiar with the South Shore area from Quincy to Duxbury.

Where do you live? Why did you choose to live there?

I currently live in Braintree and love how accessible it is – we’re a 20 minute drive to Boston (with no traffic), a 5 minute walk from the commuter rail station, 15 minute drive to the beach, and 45 minutes to the cape.

Have you worked in fields other than real estate?

I went to college for Hospitality and have experience selling luxury hotels, and planning weddings and corporate events.

What are you passionate about aside from real estate?

I love taking weekend trips around New England – my favorite spots in the summer are Maine, Newport, and the Cape, and in the Fall there’s nothing like Vermont.

What do you love about working at Flyhomes?

I love that the entire company puts our clients first. Our programs are also genius – we leverage our Guaranteed Offer and Cash Offer to ensure our clients win in competitive markets.
