What’s the first thing a new client should know about you?
Any client working with me should know that I do not mind questions. My job is to answer your questions or to find the answers. I like a personal approach, so I don’t mind a call over a text.
When did you first get your real estate license? What inspired you to get it?
I first got my real estate license in Texas back in 2015. I had always been curious about the real estate industry. The career field seemed to suit my skill set, so I went to work as a leasing broker for industrial properties in Houston. When I moved up to Seattle in 2017, real estate was all I knew, and was all I cared to do.
What neighborhoods are you an expert in?
Having lived in North Seattle for most of my time here, I know the Ballard-Fremont-Wallingford corridor the best. They are the staple neighborhoods of Seattle’s young demographic and I think have the most to offer in terms of activities. For those reasons, I frequent that area and know the most about it.
Where do you live? Why did you choose to live there?
I live in Ballard currently. I love the area because it has everything you would need in a neighborhood. It’s almost like a town within Seattle. There are bars, restaurants, music venues, and fantastic views of the Puget Sound.
Have you worked in fields other than real estate?
The only other field I ever worked in outside of real estate was during my first job. I worked in logistics for an oilfield services company in Houston. Once I started in real estate, I never thought about another industry again.
What are you passionate about aside from real estate?
Outside of real estate, I spend my free time outdoors or watching sports. Seattle provides a fantastic opportunity to be hiking or skiing within 2 hours of your home, so I try to take advantage of that as often as I can. I am also a long way from home, but I try to watch my hometown teams and the LSU football team as often as possible.
What do you love about working at Flyhomes?
Real estate has always been a relationship-focused business, which is why I love it. However, the traditional way of doing real estate has some flaws. I believe Flyhomes has tried to carry forward the best aspects of the real estate industry while paving new ground for the future of real estate. Flyhomes is changing the industry to make it work better for the customer and that is something I’m proud to be a part of.
