Bill Gates and Melinda Gates recently announced an end to their 27-year marriage, sending the world in a tizzy.
Parents to three kids, the couple run one of the largest private charitable foundations, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Their total net worth is estimated to be around $146 billion, even after contributing at least $40 billion to their foundation.
As well as their charitable work, the multi-billionaire couple are also known for their $127M family home in Medina, Washington. Named ‘Xanadu 2.0’, Bill Gates’ house was bought in 1988 for just $2M but an additional $63M have been invested in the home over the years.
