What do you do at Flyhomes? I’m a part of the Research Team. I operate out of India location and I prepare pricing reports to help advise our clients who are buying, selling or trading up. I also prepare the essential documents such as Disclosure Review, Property Review, Resale Review, Pre Offer Packet, Trade-up Pricing Packet, Negotiation Strategy and AMA.
What did you do before joining Flyhomes? Coming from a Civil Engineering background, I’ve been in the Real Estate industry since 2015. Before joining Flyhomes I was into property valuations & mortgage appraisals and conducted valuations & rental assessments for all real estate asset classes such as residential, commercial, industrial, warehousing, hospitality, retail, etc. I have worked with Cushman & Wakefield, JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) and ICICI Home Finance in the past. I’m also a MRICS APC Candidate.
What’s something unexpected that you’ve learned on the job? Real Estate has always been very fascinating to me and every property is unique. Assessment of each and every property is a challenging task and I love such challenges. Something which I have learned on the job is the “decision making” skill.
What’s your #1 tip for homebuyers? Since buying a home is one of the biggest investments and decision in life, one should study the market well, do some research work and then make a decision based on the requirements – and we’ve got all that covered!
How do you like to spend time when you’re not working? Photography and travelling are my hobbies. Apart from capturing the beauty of nature, I’ve also conducted pre-wedding and wedding shoots. You can check out my work by clicking here on my Instagram ID: Abzy001. Also, do not forget to follow me to stay updated with the latest! 😉
Here’s one capture with a cup of tea!
I’ve also done a lot of event photography. Here’s me at the Sotheby’s Global Luxury Realty Conclave:
What’s something about you that surprises people? I need something sweet to eat after every meal LOL! I love eating sweets! I can just go on eating them all day. But lately, I have now started to control myself and focus more on my health.
Pets, plants, or both? What makes you happy at home? BOTH! I have a Dalmation. Her name is “Saaya” which means Shadow in Hindi. We’ve named her Saaya as she keeps following you wherever you go. She’s been a part of my family since 7 years now. I also have lots of plants in my house. I believe that both pets and plants are great stress busters and also help improve your mood.
Here is a picture of Saaya:
What neighborhood do you live in? I currently live in a high-rise apartment in Noida – (In the New Delhi National Capital Region). I get a great city view from my balcony and also witness amazing sunsets which I love capturing.
Here’s one of the sunsets:
Where else have you lived? I have lived in different parts of India. I hail from a hill station called Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh (Our ancestral place). I have lived in the state of Assam – which is the East part of India, for a few years and also in Rajasthan – which is the West part of India.
What’s your favorite place in Noida? I love the historical places and forts which were built years ago. I love to explore them and know more about the history of these monuments. Few of the names include – Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort, Old Fort, Qutub Minar and many more.
Spill a best-kept neighborhood secret spot (where do the locals go?) There’s no secret spot as such, but rather one can go for long drives to the mountains as this place is very centrally located.
What do you love most about your home? As my balcony is west facing, I love the sunsets from my balcony.
