What did you do before joining Flyhomes? I worked in e-commerce, sales and marketing in the outdoor industry.
What’s something unexpected that you’ve learned on the job? Hmm. That is a good question. I’ve learned that you can sell real estate while working 100% from home.
What’s your #1 tip for homebuyers? Buy a home on your schedule. Focus on finding the right home at a time when you’re able to move. Don’t get too caught up in getting a deal or discount. What is most important is finding a home where you can be happy and comfortable.
How do you like to spend time when you’re not working? I love to get outside any way I can. Often that is hiking, backpacking, camping, snowboarding or taking walks with my 1 year old and my wife.
What’s something about you that surprises people? I have a ridiculous memory for random sports statistics.
Pets, plants, or both? What makes you happy at home? Definitely both. Pets and animals both do a lot to brighten my day.
What neighborhood do you live in? Where else have you lived? I live in Issaquah but I have lived in Bellevue and Wallingford and Grand Rapids, Michigan before moving to the Northwest. I love getting to know different neighborhoods and local restaurants.
What’s your favorite place in Issaquah? Spill a best-kept neighborhood secret spot (where do the locals go?) I really loved Rogue Brewing in Issaquah before they closed. I also highly recommend Aslan Brewing in Fremont. They’re originally based in Bellingham, which is one of my favorite Washington cities to visit.
What do you love most about your home? I love the natural light and the walking and hiking nearby to us.
